Well I don't have to pay any taxes.

That is the law in my country for currency accounts.

Thats lucky. I am lucky with my bank(Barclays), they allow me to not pay anything on top of the US funds I bring in to my account usually from PayPal xfers or US Cheques being cashed in.

I hear other banks in the UK charge up to £8 to get the cheque cashed in!

Well in my country you have a tax called PDV and it is 22%(the amount you give to your country)

So if you get a day job and if are registered that you are working they get 22% of your every salary.

But this law doesn't apply to currency accounts,I have luck.

Yeh, it is very varied in the UK. I think the average is 27k a year or something. I know 2 people, one earns £17,000 a year, and the other earns £176,000 a year. Huge difference.

Yeh but arent the costs for items etc much lower than they would be in the UK? They must be, because you couldnt survive on 5k a year here.

Im guessing food, video games, etc are cheaper by about 50%.
How much in £ is like a pint of milk, or a loaf of bread etc? Im curious now.

Well a pint of milk is £0.50,a loaf of bread £0.80,coffee in town £0.80,nice t-shirt around £20.00,nice pants about £40.00,a toast or cheeseburger at fast food £1.00,Coca-cola(smallest one)£0.70,original video game for every platform about £50.00...

But I am living in the most expensive town in my whole country. And that is only because it get's about 400k-500k tourists during the summer session.

Pretty much for a town that has 60k people.

£50.00 for a game is very high. The food is considerably cheaper however. I guess it all evens out with different things.

Games/dvds/etc are different. They are usually quite cheap in the US and the UK in comparison because thats where the main distributers are, countries like India have to import them (and so have higher prices because of import costs).

So far from what I have understood you can buy a hosting plan and then sell space on that server.

Can you make money with reseller hosting?
Yes you can but not at the prices that some are selling hosting for on dp. If you have a reseller account and sell hosting for 5-10 a month it is very profitable. And can be done, and has been done, Just dont sell it for .99 a year like i see on Ebay or 5.00 a year on dp. You can make some good money and then when your business grows move up to a vps or dedicated server.

But I really don't get the catch with reseller hosting,I think that hosting companies offer to little space and bandwidth to make any decent money from selling hosting packages or am I wrong...?

Yes thye do , but lets get realistic people, if you are putting 1000 accounts (or wanting to ) then shared hosting is not for you. I would recommend a dedicated server (if not a couple) for that many accounts.

Some people do not understand that you are sharing the server with many others and that you do out grow shared hosting, You start putting 1000 accounts on a server you have out grown it by about 800 accounts.
