My PR was reduced to 0 from 2 yin yesterdays PR update. This is crazy why is Google doing PR updates so frequently??

Nothing happened to my sites, maybe your site was just penalized.

Yeh there was an Update, along with an Alexa update. My Alexa rank is lower(which is good), and my PR is the same.

How do you know PR updated if your PR didn't change?

I don't see millions of thread over at DP, to see if there really was a PR update.

Can anyone confirm?

I know because around 7 blogs I know of changed, and a few people messaged me on MSN about it.

The latest update was like a month ago, hard to believe they updated again.
Supposedly it updates ever 3 months.

Well, it must of been just a small update then, as you said.
But then that could of been like a million sites couldnt it really, without much word coming out about it, with the number of sites there really are out there.

alexa rank will update daily as i am noticing to my site it is daily decreasing and the PR is same.does google owns alexa too ?

I dont think Google owns Alexa.
It depends on the site you have. If your site is in the high rankings, it gets updated daily, if not, it is every 3-4 days.
It gives you more priority of an update depending on the popularity of your site on Alexa and the higher your rank is.

3 to 4 days means but how about PR which is updated 3 to 4 months anyway recently once on a time i got pr4 with 3 backlinks and it stayed few days and gone as many told it is fake and check on googledance tool

Some PR checkers don't work properly and say the PR is fake, so you have to be careful of which websites you are using.

I don't think it is 4 months for a PR update. I am sure it is around 2-3 months at most.

PR is a good way to make money though, link selling.
Keyword filled description? Are you sure? Sounds like a stupid reason to get penalized.

There was no widespread PR update. It will have been a manual update of your sites PR.

Alexa is not owned by Google.

yeah may be!! I am getting more traffic now than when I had PR2 and I am not into link selling!! Adsense and affiliates is good enough for me

Well, I try to sell links secretly to not get penalized.

I never put out my link to the public.
