That's really a matter of opinion. If you want to resell proxy hosting, I would suggest you buy a dedicated server that can handle or or you can do a quick search here.

You shouldn't use proxy that's for sure. I would also recommend not using any hard or long words for the students.

IMO, PHPproxy because it is faster. I also like Glype because it is somewhat more secure according to people.

Why not both?

I would say when they stop making you money.

It really depends on the domain and how much revenue and traffic it is getting.


Remember, don't use Adsense on proxified pages.

Unlike many people will tell you, try to keep the word "proxy" out of your domain or title tags. Many filters are now looking into your domain and title tags and immediately blocking you because it has the word proxy in it. Some filters even block you if you have the word proxy on your site at all.

And you heard right. Phproxy is the best script out there today in my opinion. There are so many great templates and cool addons that will truly make your script a success. When myspace was a big seller, I had a script where when someone logged onto myspace using my proxy, they automatically added me as a friend. From there, I advertised to them all the time. It was a great script. You might want to check around. It might still be available.

Also, I would suggest Adsense and Adbrite both integrated into your site. I would especially suggest possibly using Adbrite on your proxified pages. It can bring you a serious amount of income. Also, I never had any luck with getting accepted, but possibly try getting accepted by adversal. This can bring you even more cash by the end of the week. If you combine all three, you will profit big.

I would personally sell it after 5 days of extreme traffic and promotion. I suggest using social bookmarking for traffic as well as some proxy newsletters and myspace bulletins.

After 5 days of extreme traffic and revenue, I usually sold for around 5X weekly profit.

Honestly that question is way too vague. I've used 100 of gb's a day on one proxy and as little as 10MB. It all depends on your traffic. Also, you can't really determine the amount 1 proxy user will use. Some play games and such on it (uses a lot of bw) and others just visit facebook for 30 sec. It all depends.

Again, it determines how much people use your proxy.
Some proxies can use over 100gb a day.

There is a PHP mod you can put that will limit a users bandwidth usage.

It's as simple as putting in the adsense code.

You are going to use clickbank for your proxified pages? I don't you will get any revenue with that.
