Default Block IPs from a certain country?
Does anyone know how I can block IPs from a certain country?
I hear it has to be done in the .htaccess.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

Any help will be appreciated.

Looks like people here don't really have knowledge about that, I found a website that lets me copy and paste IPs from certain countries to put on my .htaccess.
Country IP Blocks: Network Allocations by Country with Searchable IP Database

Does anyone else know an alternative way to block IPs other than cPanel?

PM Yulia about this. They do this on r00t, and I believe he/she knows about how to edit the files or cpanel area to make it possible.

I believe they use the htaccess files. Not completely sure though.

I got the .htaccess method, but I would like to know if there is any other method.

mod geoip
MaxMind - GeoIP Apache API

Nope, your server just needs to be compatible with Apache.

Yes the server I am hosted in has Apache.

You need to have root access, so if you do not have your own server or vps then you will not be able to install this..

On shared hosting then I would go with the .htaccess file to block the ips..
