tsdesigns is on a distinguished road

I've flicked through some of those books (were recommended reading for uni, but I knew most of it already, so just flicked through them in the library) and the CSS sections seemed pretty poor to me (very patronising, written as if it was aimed at small children).

The links you gave seem okay.

I'd CSS Beginner Tutorial | HTML Dog to it though. I love HTML dog.

We don't get many IT based books in our library, but I have bought some books that I need from ebay/amazon over the years and they suit me fine. Visual Quickstart guides are the winz.

Our uni library is great, it's got tonnes of stuff in it, and gets at least one of each recommended reading book for each module on each course.

Nice one. We have a big LRC with thousands of books for all the other subjects and so on, even free back copies of games magazines and so on, but we want IT books! Might get onto our Student Union about it.

The union isn't to do with the library is it? Ours isn't...totally separate things.

Nah it isnt, its about the whole college and how it is run in seperate sections.
