Default Advice when writing content

Keep the following things in mind when you create content :-
  • Generate curiosity in readers. This way they'll keep reading to find out more. Or if you're selling something they may be inclined to buy in order to have their questions answered.
  • Make you content really interesting and worth for reading. Otherwise users will just close your webpage and never return.

Yeah, Ask Questions to your Visitors and see what they want to read.
post should end in a way, that visitors cant leave your blog without commenting on the post.
a series of post is a Hit, this makes a visitor to Come back to read your blog post.
If not planning a series of posts, tell people about your next post in every post, so that they wait for your posts to get published.

Again, there is much more types of websites than blogs.

But yeah, a series of posts is always a good idea, especially with tutorial sites.

Also:
Spell check, re-read it (incase you have made mistakes that can't be picked up by a spell checker), and make sure your grammer is good.

If I open a webpage and read a few lines to find that the person can't even put together a semi-good sentence then it gets closed straight away.

Definitely. It just puts me off immediately.

By the way, when creating content, I think it also requires a lot of preparation beforehand. Actually do some research and think about what you're creating. I'm sure everyone learned in their English classes the reason behind a first draft. What's the point if you don't use that? You write something, check it for any errors, and then you revise it once more to make it perfect. Even if you're language skill was bad, your first can always be better even if you yourself check overit.

Or better yet, someone else checks it for you (if you re-read something you have just written it is still fresh in your memory, so you might overlook some things you do wrong that someone else might pick up on)

Spelling can be easily checked with spell check tools . The visitor is just an ordinary person like you . You need to double checking before posting live updates to the websites. The content must be unique , high quality and error /mistake free . The ultimate administrator / webmaster of your website is you itself .

You mean like jokes? I guess that's a good way to keep a reader entertained.

It is a best way to promote your online content . Add a few sentence which makes the readers think and bloodying the brain and thought provoking . The readers come again and again to read the same content as it have a feeling on new.
