Is it any good?

From a SEO perspective I can't see it being great, I mean you won't have much text on your blog unless you pad it out a bit with what each video is about.

So in that case your going to have to rely on referring links to get good traffic to your blog.

Just wondering if anyone with some experience in it could shed some light?

I think video bloggers, especially those on YouTube, really don't care all that much about SEO. They do it for fun anyways. I know that Joe from IMWithJoe does video blogging quite a bit. He introduces what the blog will be about abit in text. If you want the full coverage you can watch the video.

I'd say that the biggest advantage of vlogging is that the personality comes out quite a bit. With blogging, there's a certain limit and often in some niches, people hardly sound like what they truly are. With vlogging, you can't vlog without being yourself. Most of these type of people, as I said before, couldn't care about SEO.

i not sure, why people said take from youtube is video blogging, are they unique content?

i found one good site, have a lot video, and i agree if someone call it "Video Blogging"

I don't mean people taking videos from youtube and posting them.

I mean people creating videos about something, then posting on their blog. A bit like the site you pointed out.

sorry misunderstood

i think make some SEO by keywords, and post. Nice video, Small post, good advertise, and clear website is better to get repeat visitor.

Vic @ bloggerunleashed.com is a video blogger. He only post links that he said in the video in the post with the video. The things he teach other so call guru bloggers been watching him then teach it to their readers like its their own. He had to make a membership site just to keep his stuff to his subscribers.

Vic is great at SEO. Just go to his site and look at your compete toolbar.

There are a few Premium themes around that have been made specifically for video blogging.

It isn't something I've played with myself, but video is definitely more interesting than a wall of text.
