You can't run a serious blog without hosting your own. Being able to choose your own plugins and theme, then editing them is priceless.

I've got a couple at HostGator and a few at Qoozz. HostGator, of course, is topnotch, but Qoozz, despite being small, is still very excellent.

TBH any hosting package that supports PHP/MYSQL and has a good uptime is good for bloggers

Well... Unless you are a professional blogger with lots of visitors and lots of handmade plugins eating up quite a bit of the server's resource. Like ProBlogger probably wouldn't do to well on a shared at HostGator.

Aye...but thats not a normal blog. Obviously if your getting high traffic then your going to need more bandwidth, gets to the point where you might even want your own server sometimes.

It's the same as any type of website.

My blog is on hastyhost. Well my whole network is on hastyhost but 2 websites. My network growing to big to be there though. Looking for VPS hosting now.

I host my own...

Most blogs do just fineon shared hosting. I do not see any reason to get a vps or dedicated server for a couple of blogs that will do just fine on shared hosting.

THere are exceptions to this, some blogs (could be their plug ins) do cause some server loads. But for teh most part they are fine on shared hosting.

i have bought the host with a private seller and it is worse now i am looking another host either may be hostgator or somewhere
my blog loads very slowly and the vistors leaves the site before laoding
