Hi,
Could anyone tell me how to get the ads-blocks on the righthand side of this blog to get placed a bit lower so they aren't covering the navbar? I've tried and tried and can get them to move but they go all over the place and not where they should be! this is the page: The Marketing Mother |

In firefox, the theme looks perfect, but on IE, the blocks are overlapping the navigation.
Looks the designer of that theme was working with it on firefox. I think you can move it a little down in the style.css. Look for "ads" on the style.css, that should be the block. |

Thanks
, ...but I've tried it - stacks of times - and although it does go down it goes to the left towards the centre of the page. |

Thank you.
I've played around with the css and have managed to get it to be ok (so far, that is! but haven't uploaded a post yet) Thanks for your time ![]() |

After that you will be able to make any additional edits that may be required. remember you can make a 125x25 image too or whatever you want to use, and test with that instead of the adverts, as it can affect your CTR and so on, depending on what you are using. |

Which small empty space do you mean?? there is a BIG empty space on the home page at the moment (I have done a small 'about' page which is looking ok on my computer in mozilla and ie)
thank you |

Yeh, but the big empty space will be replaced with a post content area once you make a post which will affect theme files.
Make a test post saying "test" and you will see. |

I've just done it and you were right!
Internet Tips, Hints and How To's for Webmasters I've got to go and find where the 'posts' section in the css is, because it is like the ads on the right were ...too high up. Thanks. |

Make an additional post, which is longer than the length of the page, and check how the page stretches with CSS, and see if your adverts stay in the same position.

ok. done that. the ads are all ok, but just need to alter the css to make the post lower - although when I click and go into the category for 'testing' the positioning is fine
One thing that is odd though is that the wysiwig is not keeping any of the paragraph spaces when I save ...just saves in the one big lump of text. Not sure why that is... |
