I have to agree with your point nada. scorpion, chill out man. The contest is just there to kick start the forum and to give a friendly contest to give some exposure. It's certainly NOT there for money hungry people to join and work their butts off for it and then vanish once it's gone.

Also, regarding a few of your posts, I can understand why you may be feeling that way. However, the staff behind this site and many of the members on SEO Bum want to see this community grow into a good online forum for webmasters. Copy and pasting stuff from other websites and creating them as threads, claiming them as your post, is certainly NOT the way to do it.

Regarding the blog posts, I don't understand what you're talking about. Blogs are an extremely powerful method in shouting something out and all webmasters probably agree with me on this. 50 points? I don't know what is the exact and the most appropriate amount. However, Mike said on another post that he and Aaron reviews the blogs. I'm sure they can differentiate a crappy blogspot blog to a reputable blog with quite a bit of subscribers.

We're here to grow the community while having fun with this little contest. If you're here to complain about why you can't get the $500 easily, I think you're at the wrong place.

No offense, but this is my two cents.
